EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field Master degree preferable but not required EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Minimum of 5 years working experience in local government Demonstrated success managing directly or indirectly a team of at least 15 professionals Client service or customer service experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal skills Highly developed listening skills Interest in professional development Passion to coach others, to be coached, and to work as a team The position requires some travel in the greater suburban Chicago area.
